Reverend Slavcho Panev

Father Slavcho Panev is an American citizen born in the Village Kamalavo, Pirinska Macedonia, Bulgaria. Father Slavcho graduated Engineering School (Technikum) in Panaguste, Bulgaria in 1968. Father immigrated to the US in 1969 and worked int the Detroit area until 1977. He moved to Kassel, Germany in 1977. Father was ordained as Deacon in 1983 and became a Priest in 1984 under most Reverend Arch Bishop Mark of Berlin and Germany. He served in the Russian Orthodox Church in Kassel for 19 years. Father joined St. Clements Orthodox Church in 2006 and continues to serve and grow our church today. Father married Sebastiana Panev in 1971 and is the proud father of 4 children - Elena (1972), Andrei (1975), Venezia (1976), and Loretta (1978). Father is fluent in English, Bulgarian, Macedonian, Russian and German. He also speaks Greek and Italian.
